BMW SERIES 6

BMW are due to launch a new version of the 6 series model late in 2010.  Although the BMW 6 remains a coupe it comes with some additional features in that it will be much roomier and also it looks a great deal sportier compared to the current version. 

Also it is expected that upon its release the new BMW series 6 will be available in two different versions.  You should you wish to purchase one of these wonderful looking cars have the choice of either the sporty or luxury GT model.  But both will supposedly be fitted with the same V8 engine that is fitted with a dual clutch transmission system. 

Although the engine in each model will be a V8 the size of them will differ somewhat.  Some models of this new car will be fitted a 306HP engine whilst others will come with a 408 or 507HP engine as well.  But all of these new engines will come with an 8 speed automatic gearbox and you will be able to control the changes from the paddle shifters on the steering wheel.    But you may also want to consider the manual transmission system; however this is an optional extra.

Even though the engines in these vehicles are quite large they still offer good fuel consumption.  When used in a suburban situation you will find that the vehicle achieves 15 miles to the gallon.  Whilst on the open road it is able to reach 23 miles to the gallon. 

Both models of the new BMW 6 series car will come with numerous safety features ensuring that you are well protected at all times when in the vehicle.  However when it comes to the GT model you will find that as standard it comes with a number of additional features including air conditioning, navigation and entertainment systems and also the seating will use only the highest quality leather. 

As well as a hard top version of this particular car, BMW are also releasing a convertible model.  But although they differ slightly they will still offer passengers seating in the rear seats plenty of room for their legs.

Along with plenty of space inside the car it comes with the added extra of a good size boot.  So when going away on vacation with your family getting all their cases in it won’t prove a problem.
