BMW is a power house of innovation and has been for a long time with their excellent vehicle range. 

They continue to innovate the BMW line with additions such as the Heads Up Display, the Auto Start Stop function and their 50:50 Weight Distribution.

But it does'nt just stop with the car itself.  BMW use advanced technology in their repair / maintenance areas such as heads up displays for mechanics.  Watch the video below to see how Augmented Reality is assisting mechanics repair these amazing vehicles.  

This amazing innovation has been labelled Augmented Reality, and is now a part of the BMW repair culture.  BMW are using these relatively new commercial technologies to make driving both safer and easier.

With BMW Night Vision, both the driver and pedestrians and animals are safer.  Using an infra red camera with display screen in the dash board, you can see obstacles 300 meters ahead giving more time to stop or take evasive action.

Other safety devices such as BMW's Lane Departure Warning, Hill Descent Control and Brake Force Display are just some of the amazing safety features in built.  Something to think about the next time you pull alongside a Beamer.
